Töysä Museum, Shop Museum and Pharmacy Museum

Maintained by the Töysä Village Association, Töysä Museum offers an introduction to the local history at the beginning of the 20th century and during war and to the working lives of cobblers and shopkeepers.

Töysä Museum consists of two buildings, one of which houses the Shop Museum and the Pharmacy Museum. The Shop Museum building originally served as the Ojanperä shop, which was Töysä’s first general store. The building also houses an exhibition of pharmacy equipment and objects, many of which were donated by Markku Pohjanpalo.

The museums are located next to Sepänniemi Holiday Village in Töysä. They are open in June–August at 12 noon–4 pm when a guide is present. At other times, guided tours can be requested from the holiday resort.
