Stay in a beautiful, historical setting in Seinäjoki
Hostel Bjorkenheim, which is housed in the Törnävä hospital’s old main building in Seinäjoki’s Piiri district, was completed in 1923. The historical building underwent extensive renovations during which an air-conditioning ventilation system was installed.
The hostel offers accommodation in single, double and triple rooms. Some rooms can sleep up to six people if needed. The entire hostel can also be reserved if no other reservations have been made for the period, offering an ideal solution for event organisers who require extra accommodation, for example. Longer stays are also possible on agreement, if required for work or studies.
All the rooms are equipped with a high-quality bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a chair. Guests also have access to free internet. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.
The hostel’s shared spaces include eight toilets, a child care room and showers with dressing rooms. There is also a common kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with crockery and cooking utensils and fridges. The hostel’s pleasant lounge area makes an ideal place to relax watching television or socialising. You can arrive at the hostel at any time because the keys to the front door and interior door are in a key storage box outside the hostel. Once we receive your payment, you will get a code to open the box. Room keys are kept in storage boxes next to the room, and these can be opened with the same code.
